To a modern scent of suede, exotic vanilla, and smoked tobacco leaves, Goldfield & Banks has added refined essences of saffron, incense, ylang-ylang, and native sandalwood.

The result of this new creation is the scent of a journey in search of Australia’s ultimate olfactory treasures—a journey that recalls botanist Joseph Banks’s first visit to Australia in 1770. There he discovered exotic plants previously unknown to science, much as Goldfield & Banks founder Dimitri Weber has made it his mission to champion Australian native ingredients since launching his luxury perfume house in 2016.

A modern explorer of scent and sensuality, Dimitri Weber became fascinated by agarwood plantations in the country’s tropics. Captivated by the complexity of planting techniques and the sustainable methods applied to harvesting and extracting this precious, unique oil, he forged friendships with growers in Far North Queensland.
