THE STORY : Regent Leather is a luxury fragrance by Thameen in association with The Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club. Traditionally, Thameen selects a rare gemstone as the inspiration for each of its fragrances and it was therefore appropriate for this project to choose what is considered the most refined diamond in the world - the Regent diamond. Over 300 years old, the 141-carat Regent diamond is cushion-cut and its colour is like “first water,” perfectly white and virtually flawless. The perfume breathes luxury and privilege, opening on the bold juxtaposition of soft vanilla and sharp lemon. At the heart, the perfumer has skillfully evoked a remarkable leather accord that recalls the interior of a Rolls Royce, a cocoon of craftsmanship that will envelop the wearer. The tone speaks of power and strong will, supported by spices and resins, including a fine saffron and a deep, resinous labdanum. The base is radiant, a scented patina of elegant, timeless gurjum, cedar and patchouli.
