CLICK SONG - UNE NUIT NOMADE

‘Click Song’, Qongqothwane in the Xhosa language, is a song carried around the world by the great Miriam Makeba, a central figure of South Africa. A child of the townships who became a star in her country, she was forced to take the wings of exile because her voice against apartheid resonated so strongly. An artist and committed activist, called ‘Mama Afrika’, she carried her fight across the world.

‘Click Song’ is a burning tribute to this extraordinary woman, a rosebud draped in a patchouli leaf, whose solid, deep roots of amber and cistus sink into the sacred soil of her origins.
