Everything seems to have happened quickly.

There were punches to the chest, everyone condemned,

running closed a chapter,

Because Saturday was coming.

But fear and dread describe the unexpected,

A precious bottle falls into a thousand pieces,

It releases its aroma and speaks in silence.

It anoints my now sandy skin

With my inaccuracies.

The now useless ointment frames an empty space.

The HÆC DIES fragrance, from Filippo Sorcinelli’s "Travel Delirium" collection, was introduced during the Easter celebrations.
Filippo highlights these moments by interpreting certain passages from the Gospel of Mark through scent, notably the astonishment and fear of the women when they realize the tombstone has been rolled away.
An ideal image to describe this moment: the bottle containing the very precious aromatic oils made from aloe and myrrh, which they had prepared to anoint Jesus’ body, falls to the ground as soon as they see not only the rolled stone but also all the white linens that wrapped him. Hence the announcement of a young man dressed in dazzling white…
The bottle and the four "wings" that open like a "ritual" are covered with sand and dust, recalling the steps, the path, and the place. But the element that draws attention is the cap, which mimics the stylistic features of the rolled tombstone as it was constructed in the past.
The piece is entirely covered with a white linen veil, on which the name of the fragrance is printed: HÆEC DIES.
The outside of the packaging is also covered with the same linen.
