The first perfume finds its origin in Istanbul, the gateway to the East, with a note of black pepper, the magic of the bazaars, homesickness, the voluptuousness of holy places. The perfume takes shape within its blend. The notes, at first intimate, become the threefold body of the fragrance: base, heart, top. Memories still lead eastward, to a gate where the spiritual world felt the need to go, the gate where the gaze is bitter and spicy. The lands, like men, open their care to time, in prayer and in the ritual that extends from the hand to the body. I travel within myself, the love of time, the blend is essence, a resinous breath. The perfume flows, escapes me, now it is desire, tomorrow it is memory. Passage and nostalgia.

Composition: Geranium, incense, black pepper, rosewood, vetiver, patchouli, jasmine, sandalwood, grapefruit, benzoin, bergamot, ylang-ylang.
