KAYU - KINETIC

KAYU is a soft, cashmere darkness. Airy and pure at first, the fragrance gradually reveals itself with notes of rosemary and mandarin, gently descending into plush vanilla tones. Its dual nature — soft and dry, tender and rugged — weaves through the story the perfume tells. KAYU's woody heart opens on balsamic, rounded guaiac wood. Just behind it, the warm whisper of Omani incense heralds the approaching wave of darkness. When you close your eyes, you'll feel the impenetrable, tart, slightly bituminous agarwood notes wrap around you — this is our unique blend of oud oils from Trat Thai and Udomsai. We challenged it with an intense burst of marzipan-like sweetness, lent to the fragrance by tonka bean and powdered musk. Surprising, euphoric, close to the base. KAYU, darkness shines brighter than light.

KAYU means “wood” in Indonesian. Blending dry and earthy facets, it pays tribute to the homeland of the world's most prized oud, Thailand and Laos. An ode to woods, dusted with powdery sweetness.
