SWEETIE AOUD - ROJA

Surrounded by the temptation to succumb to all edible pleasures while working in the Middle East, I was able to observe that Aoud enthusiasts desired something new - something creative. So I started playing with the idea of combining Aoud with gourmet elements.

Bergamot combines with wormwood to create a cocoon for the rose note at the heart of this creation. An accord like pastry softened by a blend of cedarwood, guaiac wood, juniper, oud, and sandalwood similar to Amyris with exotic notes of gurjum, cypriol, and patchouli that are enlivened by cumin and cardamom. The whole is nestled in a tanned base of incense, labdanum, and cistus.
