SPIRITO - MEO FUSCIUNI
Cycle of Metamorphosis
I was seeking a single body, I only wanted harmony around me and the immortal delicacy of its scent, of its Spirit. I wanted none of the chosen notes to overpower the others.
I wanted a timeless fragrance, where the gaze would lose itself in the olfactory memory of this journey, in a place I have never seen. Where only spirits can arrive.
I really longed to escape, to run away one spring or summer day, but I couldn't, so I imagined a great field of grass in the wind, I wanted to recreate a place I had never seen, I was accompanied by the poetry of Emily Dickinson, her words, her visions. I saw this place, I felt it mine and close to me.
"I went to a place I had never seen,
beyond this place that I could only imagine.
Now I am there, among scents that are not spoken aloud,
but in the lived spirit, where I have never been, nor you,
perhaps, only souls.
Yet I was there, feeling the aromas and observing the borders of the wood".
I was seeking a solitary body, I only wanted harmony around me and the immortal delicacy of its scent, of its Spirit. I wanted a timeless fragrance, where the gaze would lose itself in the olfactory memory of this journey, in a place I have never seen. Where only spirits can arrive.
