Dark and obscure, shimmering with gold, dramatic and decadent: Byzantine Amber is my interpretation of the amber accord.
A departure with cinnamon and geranium pulp develops into an amber base with a dark, animalistic, and mineral facet.
Byzantine amber is the third fragrance that, along with libertine neroli and unspoken musk, makes up the series specifically dedicated to the glorious raw materials of perfumery, reinterpreted in the style of the house.

Byzantine Amber is an intense and decadent fragrance, reminiscent of a great civilization in the final phase of its splendor.
Salomé by Gustave Moreau is a painting that can evoke the splendor and drama of this olfactory work in images.

The beautiful mosaics of Byzantine civilization, like those in Ravenna, feature sparkling gold tesserae, imperfect because worn by time. This sense of theatrical and luminous splendor, accompanied by a dark and obscure side, inspired Byzantine amber.
The geranium - fleshy, pink, spicy, slightly green - contrasts with the dry minerality of gray amber and styrax.
The backbone of this work is a familiar structure, an amber accord enriched by the spice that makes it sensual: cinnamon.
This warm and bright accord is darkened by leathery, smoky, and animalistic aspects that add intensity and characterize the composition.
