The new Jovoy fragrance, “21 Conduit St”, revisits this essential classic of English perfumery, while giving it a new breath: modern and intriguing.

The result of a four-handed collaboration, 21 Conduit St tints the lavender essence with a singular brilliance. An accord born from a formula by Oli Marlow, fascinated since childhood by this aromatic note, who dreamed it contrasted, multifaceted, soaked in a tangy, fruity freshness, fevered with resinous notes.

“A lavender carved between the freshness of an icy orange, the playfulness of blackcurrant, the warm bittersweetness of pine” according to Oli Marlow.

His meeting in Paris with Perfumer Marie Schnirer (Laboratoire Maelstrom) opened him to new raw materials, notably a quality of Java Vetiver that enriches the whole with smoky and earthy swirls.

“An original hashish note” specifies Marie Schnirer.

But for her, “The secret of 21 Conduit St is first the richness of a dual lavender. An essential oil, very aromatic, and an absolute, whose coumarinic notes, those of a plant dried for several days in the sun, radiate down to the woody base of the perfume.”

It is also a lavender dressed in the freshness of citrus and the fruity nuances of fir balsam, whose candied accents sketch an enticing amaretto accord, balanced by a woody, dark and mysterious facet.
