INCENSO NOTTURNO - LORENZO PAZZAGLIA

This time Lorenzo steps out of his comfort zone, that of fruity pleasures, with great appeal, expressing joy and a smile.
He enters a darker territory and does so with his usual approach, on tiptoe, experimenting with something new yet no less captivating.
Obviously, Lorenzo's sunny temperament could not be missing, which is why Incenso Notturno, in its opening, is not so nocturnal.

The citrus notes, juxtaposed with elemi resin, also lemon-hued, sprinkled with a hint of black pepper, bring out a character that is immediately incense-like but initially bright.
The evolution is slow, and from light we move to night, through woody, earthy, and of course incense accords.
It becomes nocturnal and mysterious, with an earthy and peppery character, like a winter night walk in a cold medieval town.
The cold and damp interior of an empty church, where the smell of the wood from the pews and confessionals blends with that of lit candles and incense. The cold, damp walls emit their characteristic scent.
The balsamic warmth is perfectly balanced by the damp, earthy patchouli, and the result is surprising and decidedly gothic.
