Today, I remembered what comes next. I remembered the lost embers... the months of November, the months of December. When most people were preparing for the cold, it was already around me. And when most people were preparing for the warmth, I was stuck chasing it. Grief. I was not at home, I was not present at that moment. ... when I visit those old places, I walk more gently on our roots... ... we had so much more to say to each other. But I was a child for a very long time. I know you would say it's not so bad. It's over. A sea of darkness followed it. That will pass too. I am the son of the whitest flower and the darkest leaves.
