THE PERFUMER
Born in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France, Laure Breysse has fond childhood memories of summers spent running through the hills scented with wild rosemary, thyme, and immortelle. Her father, who worked in the cosmetics industry, passed on his passion for fragrance to her from an early age. Growing up in the suburbs of Paris, Laure developed her passion for competitive horseback riding, which helped her refine her balance of determination, focus, and passion. After years of training, Laure joined the Symrise Fine Fragrance team in 2022 as a creative perfumer. She draws inspiration from her travels around the world, bottling emotions and moments in time that are skillfully balanced with precision and creativity.
