BLUE FLAME - INSENF

The meal is over. One last small glass sits on the table.

Fresh herbs, the sweetness of anise, the warmth of a blue flame lingering at the bottom of the glass.

It is in this glass that Blue Flame is born.

It opens with bright, bitter notes, like a lemon zest twisted between the fingers. Mint leaves then bring a fresh breath, while dry coriander seeds balance everything out. A crisp opening, yet already, in a certain way, harmonious.

At its heart is sambuca. Not a syrupy, sugary sweetness, but that fresh sweetness that lingers on the palate after a sip of anise liqueur. Wormwood casts a faint herbal shadow, and the fragrance takes on a texture of its own, unlike that of any ordinary mint. Darker, more discreet, perceptible only up close.

Later, vetiver and cedarwood trace the contours of dry wood, while benzoin resin brings a subtle warmth. White musk finally settles on the skin, and the fragrance that began with a cold note ends with the scent of warm, languid skin, where soft herbs are still present.
