ÉDIT(h), a niche perfume house born from Japanese craftsmanship
ÉDIT(h) originates from a rare heritage: that of Nikko Jirushi, founded in 1905 and renowned for the traditional production of shuniku inks used for Japanese seals. From this century-old tradition arose a singular idea: to reveal the harmony between the culture of red seals and niche perfumery. The brand draws on fragrances of Asian origin historically linked to this craft, reinterpreted in a contemporary style.
The ÉDIT(h) olfactory world, between history, material and precision
Each ÉDIT(h) perfume is part of an artisanal continuity. The fragrances, materials and manufacturing processes draw directly from the know-how developed for over a century by Nikko Jirushi. The composition is not limited to the juice: the packaging, the texture of the materials, and the precision of the finishes all contribute to the overall experience. The house emphasizes an aesthetic that is both minimalist and rich in meaning.
Kentaro Kuzuwa, artistic direction and multicultural vision
At the helm of ÉDIT(h), Kentaro Kuzuwa embodies this meeting of tradition and modernity. Returning to Japan to take over the family business Moriyama INC., he combines industrial discipline, respect for traditional crafts and an international perspective. This approach fuels ÉDIT(h)’s creation, where ancestral techniques and contemporary demands coexist in balance.
